Fusing Exit Ass'y
CAUTION:
After installing the fusing lamp, check that the lamp
does not contact the inside of the roller by rotating the
fusing lamp insulator.
Make sure that both front and rear fusing lamp
insulators are properly set in the terminal sockets.
Make sure that each terminal socket is securely
tightened.
3. Pressure Roller Replacement
1. Remove the fusing unit and cover (2
screws).
2. Swing down the fusing exit assembly and
unhook the pressure springs.
3. Remove the fusing knob and the oil pan (1
screw each).
4. Remove the front pressure lever (1 E-ring).
5. Lift up the upper part of the fusing unit and
remove the pressure roller.
6. Install the bearings on the new pressure
roller and install the new roller.
