    Before Using the VPC-1600 for the First Time Follow the next steps to set up the VPC-1600. STEP1 By referring to the information in this chapter, set the VPC-1600. STEP2 Connect cables. Connect the cable of necessary external devices, such as Keyboard, mouse and Display, to this product using appropriate cables.

    Space between the main unit and its surroundings The main unit of the VPC-1600 series is equipped with air vents and fans for regulating temperature. In order to secure room around the air vents and to facilitate the connecting of cables, install the main unit with a space of 100 mm or more between the front and rear surfaces of the main unit and other items such as the surrounding devices and walls.
