4.6 Configuring ThermaCirc360™ Recirculation Pump Settings
This section is for SE+ Series Featuring ThermaCirc360™ Models Only: RUR199i/RUR199e and RUR160i/RUR160e
The ThermaCirc360™ function requires the installation of one of the following controllers to set time intervals and
duration of recirculation system operation.
MC-195T-US Timer/Controller
Wired in digital control with integrated timer
function for recirculation control.
Contact your local Rinnai installer or call Rinnai Customer Care at 1-800-621-9419.
DO NOT install the MC-195T-US Timer/Controller and Control-R™ Wi-Fi Module together as they are not
compatible accessories.
The ThermaCirc360™ water heaters include a Thermal Bypass Valve. The Thermal Bypass Valve should be installed
between the hot and cold line at the furthest fixture in the plumbing system. When using the Thermal Bypass Valve, it
is necessary to change from the bypass plug to the bypass filter. Refer to the Crossover Mode section of this manual
for additional details.
NOTE: Thermal Bypass Valve should only be used for Crossover Mode Recirculation systems.

DO NOT install more than one Thermal Bypass Valve in the plumbing system.
