Power and charging problems

Problem
"Recharge
Battery" appears
on the display
Battery low alert

Description & Solution
When you turn on the phone, this
message appears. Recharge the
battery.
Your battery is insufficiently charged.
Recharge the battery.
• Disconnect the phone from the
travel charger, remove the battery,
and then replace it. Try charging
again.
• If the problem persists, clean the
metal contacts on the battery and
the phone.
• If the actions above do not clear the
problem, contact a Samsung service
representative.
Remove the battery and then replace
it. Turn on the phone. Or press the
hole on the bottom of the phone to
perform a soft reset. If the problem
persists, contact a Samsung service
representative.
The travel charger is overheated.
Disconnect the charger from the
phone or unplug it from the power
outlet. Wait until the charger cools
down and then recharge the phone.
