    The basics Start menu screen On the Start menu, you can access all of the applications for your phone. From the Home screen, press the Start soft key to open the Start menu screen.   • Page 44 Adding programmes using ActiveSync You can install programmes downloaded from the Internet or included on the supplied software CD-ROM by performing a synchronisation between your phone and your PC. First you need to determine what your phone and processor type is so that you know which version of the software to install.

    Adding and transferring contact information There are a number of ways in which telephone numbers and contacts can be entered and stored, and there are also a number of ways to make a phone call. Therefore it is important to be able to transfer those contacts between the programmes used to make calls.
