    2.2 Connecting the Power Cord Confirm that the power switch of the printer is set to off. (1) Securely insert the power cord connector into the power cord insertion port on the rear face of the printer. (2) Insert the plug of the power cord into an AC100-240V power socket that is properly earthed.

    2.3 Setting the Cleaning Cassette A cleaning cassette is incorporated in the printer to clean the cleaning roller. This should be set according to the following procedures. Note Be sure to set the cleaning cassette for cleaning the cleaning roller. If the printer is used without setting the cleaning cassette, the cleaning roller will remain in a soiled condition, so that there will be a danger of damaging the print head.

    3.1 Installing the Printer Driver Before using the printer, install the printer driver in the computer using the attached CD-ROM. This document is written on the assumption that you understand basic functions and operating procedure of Windows. Before installing the printer driver, it is recommended to get experienced on how to operate Windows system.

    4.2 Troubleshooting • When Nothing is Printed • Are the colors of the edited data using intermediate colors? In the situation where the colors of the edited data are intermediate colors, there may be some cases where nothing is printed. Because faint colors will become white, dark colors will become black, and intermediate colors will be recognized as any one of the colors, create the edited data using the red, blue and black colors.
