    Installation This appliance must be installed or repaired by a qualified technician only. It is dangerous to modify any part of this appliance. The manufacturer declines all responsibility in case of failure to adopt proper safety measures. Ensure the location in which this appliance is installed has good, permanent ventilation. In ducted mode, there must be one or more permanent air inlet.

    4. Instructions for use A. Push Button Control Panel (P1) Press A, turns the power on. Press it again, turn off the power. Press B, the fan runs at low speed. Press again, the fan turns off. Press C, the fan runs at medium speed. Press again, the fan turns off. Press D, the fan runs at high speed.

    M. Touch Control (S9) Press A, turn on the power, the bias light on and all function icons displayed. Press B once, the fan runs at high speed. Press B again, the fan runs at medium speed. Press B the 3 time, the fan runs at low speed.

    Remark: Smoke or heat sensor: press quickly 1 time, this button will flash, after 1 minutes it will stop and the smoke and heat sensor is on. When the motor or lamp is on, touch the delay button 1 time and the delay status will be set. You can now adjust the delay time.
  • Page 20 The location of the installation must have permanent openings for ventilation. Regulations concerning the exhaust of air must be respected. It is strongly recommended that the hood be installed directly over the cooking area. It is better not to install the exhaust in the direction of the wind. This can cause the exhaust to be returned into the house.
  • Page 21 For Tower model  Put the inner chimney into upper chimney. Then, pull the upper chimney upwards. Adjust to reach the height required.

  • Page 28 Note: 1. The extensible pipe is optional accessory, not supplied. 2. Take off protection film before installation. 3. There are 2 methods of exhausting air. They are ‘Vertical’ and ‘Horizontal’. Please pay attention to the exhaust method when installation. Vertical ventilation: See Pic A, please use tool to take out the round cover before installing so the air can be vented from the top.

    Air ventilation setting  Outdoor exhausting: Turn the adjuster to outdoor position (Pic.A), install the outlet, turn on the cooker hood, then the air will be vented from the outside outlet.  Recycling: the recycling mode with a carbon filter. Turn the adjuster to indoor position (Pic. B), install the outlet cover, turn on the range hood, then the air can be vented from the inside outlet.

    5. Installation Utilisez des boulons appropriés pour monter l'appareil sur une surface solide. La distance minimale entre la surface de cuisson d'un appareil à gaz et la partie la plus basse de la hotte doit être d'au moins 65 cm (25½’’). Si les recommandations d'installation pour la cuisinière à gaz spécifient une plus grande distance, celles-ci doivent être prises en considération.
