Your individual temperament and your activities could be the cause of slight ir- regularities. If you observe a discrepancy in the running of your watch, we advise you to entrust it to an authorised Jaeger-LeCoultre retailer who will make the necessary adjustments. Watches with mechanical movements must not be used for sports involving significant risk of impact or abrupt actions, such as golf or tennis for example.
Furthermore, it is vital to have the water resistance of your watch checked by an authorised Jaeger-LeCoultre retailer at least once every two years, and at any event before any period during which it is liable to undergo prolonged and/or regular immersions.
Technical specifications - Manually-wound mechanical movement, Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 383 Dual-Wing. - 28,800 vibrations/hour. - Power-reserve: approximately 50 hours. - Power-reserve of second time zone: approximately 50 hours. - Water-resistance: Water-resistant to 5 atm. Movement Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 383. Important note regarding the power-reserves of the Calibre 383 Dual-Wing.
Both barrels can be wound using crown A, in position 1. By turning the crown clockwise, you wind up the second time zone (and there- fore restore its power-reserve). By turning the crown anti-clockwise, you wind up the time function barrel (and therefore restore its power-reserve). Important: Although the two power-reserves are independent, it is vital that both are wound before the timepiece can be used.
Starting the watch Crown in position 1 The watch can be started by turning the crown clockwise to wind on the barrel of the second time zone and anti-clockwise to wind that of the reference time. The watch is fully wound when the two power-reserve hands reach the “+” symbol.

To enable time setting accurate to one second, stop the time function seconds hand (gold or rhodium plated-hand) at 60. - Move the hands forward clockwise to the desired time and, on the hour signal, push the crown back to position 1.
