Use a suitable tool to ensure that the product is not
damaged.
Secure the power supply cable (1) and the grommet (2)
on the product's rear panel.
The grommet must be installed correctly to guarantee
the product's IP24 rating
Install the retaining bracket (3) on the lower section of the
product as shown in the figure.
Connect the product to the power grid.

6.1

Removing air pockets

Caution.
Risk of material damage caused by dry
fire
If the product is switched on when it has been
drained, the heating coil may be damaged by
dry fire.
You must disconnect the product from the
power supply every time before you drain
it.
1.
Disconnect the instantaneous water heater from the
power supply.
2.
Open the cold-water stopcock.
3.
Draw off water at the product until the water escapes
without any air bubbles. To do this, open and close the
hot water tap at the draw-off point multiple times.
4.
Switch the power supply to the instantaneous water
heater back on.
The product comes with air detection, which largely
prevents damage to the heating system. If air is
drawn into the heating system while the product is
in operation, the heating will automatically switch
off for one minute, thereby protecting the heating
system.

Start up the product.

Adjusting the product output

Check whether the product output that is set as stand-
ard must be changed.

The product can be set to two different out-
puts: 11.5 kW or 13 kW. The product is set
to 13 kW at the factory

Offset the coding module (1) according to the required
output.
3.
Note the selected output and nominal voltage on the
product's data plate (1).

Switching on the product

Fill and purge the product (→ Page 42).

To switch the product on, activate the safety switch by
pressing the reset knob.
The electronic safety switch is switched off at the
factory.

Insert the plug for the temperature selector into the
specified bush on the PCB.
Note down the alignment of the conductors

Install the front casing. (→ Page 45)
5.
Switch on the power switch in order to apply voltage to
the product.
