Important: To ensure that the direction of the pallet (from the danger zone into the safe zone) is
detected correctly, Start 2 must be occupied before Start 1 becomes free again. If an error is de-
tected during direction monitoring, the muting process is terminated and an error message is ac-
tivated (see chapter 5 "Diagnostics messages")
Important: If Start 1 and Start 2 come from the PLC: The Start 1 signal may only be reactivated
(direction detection) after the transport material has been completely transported out of the dan-
ger zone and Start 2 is no longer interrupted.
NOTE
Unnecessarily long muting should be avoided in all cases.
Phase 5 - Start 1 becomes free
The transport material releases muting sensor 1 (Start 1) again while the protective sensor is still inter-
rupted.
Figure 3.5:
Phase 5 - Muting continues even after Start 1 has been released.
Phase 6 - Protective sensor becomes free
Muting still remains active after the transport material releases the protective sensor again.
Figure 3.6:
Phase 6 - Protective sensor becomes free again.
