Controlling closed captions

You can turn closed captions on or off, select
analog or digital closed captions, and change
the appearance of digital closed captions.
To turn closed captions on or off:
1 Press MENU. The SETUP menu opens.

to select Off, Digital, or Analog.
Off–Turns closed captions off.
Digital–Service 1 through Service 6

Analog–CC1 through CC2 display
program dialog. Text 1 through Text 4
display information provided by the
broadcaster.

to confirm your selection.
You can change the following closed caption
options.
Style–Lets you use the program's default
caption style or customized styles.
Size–Selects the font size.
Text Color–Selects the font color.
Text Opacity–Selects the font opacity.
Bg.–Selects the background color
Bg. Opacity–Selects the background
opacity.
Edge Type–Selects the edge type.
Edge Color–Selects the edge color.

Turning the lock system on or off

To turn the lock system on or off:
1 Press MENU. The SETUP menu opens.
