Using Progressive scan/component video 1 or 2 inputs

Rear of DVD player
If your DVD player is equipped with progressive
scan HD video output (Y, P , P ), you can
optimize the picture quality by using component
video cables.

Connect Set-Top Box(or DVD) to PROGRESSIVE SCAN/COMPONENT VIDEO (1 or 2) inputs as
the figure above.

Press AV to display video input menu.

Select Component 1 or component 2 correspondingly by using CH+ or CH- according to the
terminals you connect.

Press VOL+ or VOL- to confirm.
Notes:
The Y, P , P outputs on your DVD player are sometimes labeled Y, C , C or Y, B-Y, R-Y. If so,

connect the cables to like colors.
