16. The lid is made of tempered glass. The lid is fragile and may crack or break if
dropped. Handle with care. Always inspect the lid for chips, cracks or any other
damage. Do not use the glass lid if it is damaged, as it may shatter during use.
17. CAUTION: To protect against electrical shock and product damage, do not cook
directly in the heating base. Cook only in the removable pot provided.
18. When using this appliance, provide adequate ventilation above and on all sides
for air circulation. Do not allow this appliance to touch curtains, wall coverings,
clothing, dishtowels or other flammable materials during use.
19. Never use the removable cooking pot on a gas or electric cooktop or an open
flame.
20. Do not leave the rice ladle or measuring cup in the inner pot while unit is on and
in use.
21. Do not plug in or turn on the appliance without having the cooking pot inside.
22. Intended for household countertop use only. Keep 6 inches (152 mm) clear from
the wall and on all sides. Always use appliance on a dry, stable, level surface.
23. WARNING: Spilled food can cause serious burns. Keep appliance and cord
away from children. Never drape cord over edge of counter, never use outlet
below counter, and never use with an extension cord.
24. Never attempt to lift or carry this appliance by the lid handle. Always use the
handles located at each side on the base of the appliance.
25. Do not use the Cooking Pot for food storage or place in the freezer.
26. Do not use with a programmer, timer, wireless plug adapter or outlet that allows
control remotely, or connect to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by
the utility.
27. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding refrigerated foods or cold
liquids into a heated pot.
28. When the appliance is in the tilted position, the lid will not stay open on its own.
Always return the appliance to the level position before opening the lid.
29. Extreme caution must be used when opening the lid during or after a cooking
cycle. The air fry fan cover may not be fully locked and may fall into the
appliance containing hot liquids. Always protect your hands with non-slip mitts or
similar.
30. CAUTION: The air fry fan cover will be hot from cooking cycle. Do not touch
the heating element guard immediately. Allow to cool before handling. Always

31. Use caution when opening the lid. The lid's metal surfaces will be hot. Contact
with hot metal surfaces and coils can cause burns.
32. Do not operate the appliance without the lid's silicone gasket, escaping steam
can cause burns.
33. Use caution when opening and closing the lid to avoid pinching.
