DESIGN OF THE LEICA SL LENSES All Leica SL lenses basically look the same on the outside: On the front mount there is an external bayonet fitting for the lens hood and an internal thread for filters, as well as a focus ring and an alignment button for lens changes. -

DEPTH OF FIELD No depth of field scale is provided, because Leica SL lenses don’t come with an aperture settings ring. Instead, the top display of the camera shows the near and far focal length limits of the depth of field alongside the set distance. -
