Maintenance and Service
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
For safe and proper working, always keep
the machine and ventilation slots clean.
Note: The blade 1 and the cutter bars 2 must not
be reground.
Turning/replacing the cutter bars
(see figure B)
If the front half of the cutter bars 2 is blunt, you
can exchange the cutter bars one against another.
If both halves of the cutter bars 2 are blunt, the
cutter bars must be replaced.
Unscrew the screws 3 with an allen key (size
2.5 mm) and remove the cutter bar 2.
Mount a new or a turned cutter bar 2 and fix it
with the screws 3. Tighten the screws.
If the machine should fail despite the care taken
in manufacturing and testing procedures, repair
should be carried out by an after-sales service
centre for Bosch power tools.
In all correspondence and spare parts order,
please always include the 10-digit article
number given on the type plate of the machine.
