9 Mounting the Cutting Attachment

8.3 Fitting the Skirt
When using mowing heads

The deflector for metal mowing attachments (1)
must be equipped with the skirt (2) when you use
mowing heads.
► Slide the lower guide slot (3) of the skirt (2)
onto the deflector (1) – it must snap into posi‐
tion.

When using nylon line mowing heads

The deflector for metal mowing attachments (1)
must be equipped with the line limiter blade (4)
when you use nylon line mowing heads.
► Push the blade (4) into the upper guide slot (5)
on the skirt (2) and line it up with the first hole.
► Insert the screw and tighten it down firmly.

► Shut off the engine.
► Lay your power tool on its back so that the cut‐
ting attachment mounting face is pointing up.
