1. WARNINGS AND SAFETY
• To prevent fire or electric shocks, the device must not be exposed to rain or humidity.
• For your own safety: to prevent electric shocks do not remove the housing.
• Do not try to repair any malfunctioning parts of the device yourself. Ask a professional expert to do this for you.
• When plugged into the mains, the device remains electrically charged even when switched off.

    WIRELESS ROUTER: In order to use the Smart Zone 4, you will need to have a working Wi-Fi network in your home, since the control app on your mobile device needs to be in the same network as the streamer.

    6. PLACING THE SMART ZONE 4 The Smart Zone 4 is an audio streamer and needs to be used with an external device that offers audio amplifica- tion. For example: Artsound AMP1250 or 2 x Artsound PRL1204 can be used. You should place the Smart Zone 4 near the amplification device you want to connect to.
