3. Pry open the CPU-shielding cover from the top-left corner.
4. Remove the CPU-shielding cover from the computer.
5. Loosen the three (M2x2.5) screws in reverse sequential order (3 > 2 > 1) as indicated by the numbers on the heat sink.
6. Lift the heat sink off the system board.
Installing the heat sink
Prerequisites
CAUTION:
Incorrect alignment of the heat sink can damage the system board and the processor.
NOTE:
If either the system board or the heat sink is replaced, use the thermal pad or thermal paste provided in the kit to
ensure that there is thermal conductivity.
