Digital Audio header (4-1 pin SPDIF_OUT)

This header is for an additional Sony/Philips Digital Interface (S/PDIF) port.
Connect the S/PDIF Out module cable to this header, then install the module
to a slot opening at the back of the system chassis.

NOTE: The SPDIF Out module is purchased separately.
17. Front Panel Audio header (10-1 pin AAFP)
This header is for a chassis-mounted front panel audio I/O module that
supports HD Audio standard. Connect one end of the front panel audio I/O
module cable to this header.

IMPORTANT!
• We recommend that you connect a high-definition front panel audio module
to this header to avail of the motherboard's high-definition audio capability.
• If you want to connect a high-definition front panel audio module to this
connector, set the HD Audio Controller item in the BIOS Setup to [Enabled].
