Servicing the Spark Plugs

Service Interval: Every 600 hours—Replace and gap the
spark plugs.
Make sure the air gap between the center and side electrodes
is correct before installing the spark plugs. Use a spark plug
wrench for removing and installing the spark plugs and a
gapping tool/feeler gauge to check and adjust the air gap.
Install new spark plugs at the indicated interval.
Type : Champion
®
XC10YC or equivalent
Air Gap: 0.030 inch (0.76 mm)
Removing the Spark Plugs
1. Lower the grinder and stop the engine. Remove the key.
2. Remove each spark plug.
Setting the Gap on New Spark Plugs
Set the gap in each new spark plug to 0.030 inches (0.76 mm).

Installing the Spark Plugs
Tighten the spark plugs to 20 ft-lb (27 N-m).
