Setting Up the Pocket PC Terminal

Aligning the Touch Screen

You should align the Touch Screen whenever you feel its response is not what it should
be, or when the wrong function is performed when you tap the Touch Screen.
1. Press the Fn key and then press "4" to display the Touch Screen alignment screen.
• Alternatively, you could tap: [Start] – [Setting] – [System]– [Align Screen].
2. Follow the instructions on the display to align the screen.

Adjusting Screen Contrast

You can use either of the following procedures to adjust display contrast when the color
of the images on the screen appear too light or too dark.

To adjust display contrast using the utilities screen

1. Tap the on-screen [Start].
2. Tap [Settings], [System] tab, [Brightness].
3. Tap the [Contrast] tab.
4. Follow the instructions that appear on the display to adjust contrast.

To adjust display contrast using the Fn and ten-keys

After pressing the Fn key, press "8" to decrease contrast or "9" to increase it.

Adjusting Screen Brightness (IT-700M30E/M30RC)

You can use either of the following procedures to adjust screen brightness for easier
viewing under various lighting conditions.

To adjust display brightness using the utilities screen

1. Tap the on-screen [Start].
2. Tap [Settings], [System] tab, [Brightness].
3. Tap the [Brightness] tab.
4. Follow the instructions that appear on the display to adjust contrast.

To adjust display brightness using the Fn and ten-keys

After pressing the Fn key, press "5" to make the screen darker or "6" to make it lighter.
