Tailboard cont'd.
WARNING
Ensure the Tailboard is closed and locked before driving the vehicle.
Never drive the vehicle with the Tailboard in the lowered position.
Vehicle lighting must remain on during loading/unloading through the
hours of darkness or poor visibility.
Avoid lowering the Tailboard when stationary on the public highway.
The Tailboard in the lowered position obscures the vehicle rear lights.
Minimise the amount of time the board is lowered by closing
immediately after loading and unloading is completed. If unavoidable,
a warning triangle or similar devices must be deployed warning
approaching drivers of a stationary vehicle with rear lamps obscured
