    Keep liquids away from the product. Avoid getting moisture in any openings. If liquid makes its way inside your HP product, it can cause damage to the product. Do not spray liquids directly on the product. Do not use aerosol sprays, solvents, abrasives, or cleaners containing hydrogen peroxide or bleach that might damage the finish.

Component replacement procedures To remove and replace computer components, use these procedures.

    Before removing the bottom cover, prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 32). Remove the computer feet: Close the computer and position it upside down, with the front toward you. Insert a tool with no sharp edges between the base enclosure and one end of the rubber feet. Pull up the rubber feet lightly and quickly.
  • Page 42 Remove the rubber feet (see Computer feet on page 32). Remove the bottom cover: Remove the four Phillips M2.5 × 6.0 screws (1) in the feet area, and the two Phillips M2.5 × 4.0 screws (2) in the front part of the bottom cover. Use a thin plastic tool (1) to release the back cover.
