FEATURES AND CONTROLS
HAND BRAKE LEVER
The hand brake
operates both front and
rear brakes. Squeeze the
brake lever toward the
handlebar to apply the all-
wheel brakes. If the rear
wheels begin to skid or
slide while using the brake,
reduce lever pressure.
Operating the vehicle with a spongy brake lever can result in loss of braking,
which could cause an accident. Never operate the vehicle with a spongy-
feeling brake lever. Always contact your dealer for service before operating the

Operating the ATV while the brake holding latch is engaged could result in an
accident or fire. Always check to be sure the latch is disengaged before

1. Place the transmission
in PARK.
2. Squeeze and release
the brake lever
or three times, then
