- Page 5 FEATURES CONTINUED CLAMP LEVER — The clamp lever incorporates a Safety Latch. To unlock the clamp for sliding, first push the Safety Latch forward, then swing the lever open. The clamp is fully closed and locked on the quick-release plate when the lever is firmly closed back to its original position and the Safety Latch has clicked back into place.
