PST-53-40
Assembly instructions:
The antenna can be assembled in several ways:
Assemble it on two trestles and then transport it on the mast or pre-assemble the elements and then
complete the assembly on the mast.
In both cases it is preferable to prepare the elements first and then the boom. If possible, given the
delicacy, the power lines are preferable to be installed with the antenna already on the mast.
By removing the elements from the packaging, you will find all the tubes that make up the elements
already pre-assembled, in a telescopic sequence. By tilting the pack, make sure that all the heads of
each one diameter protrude from the main pipe.
Do not forget to slightly lubricate the thread of the stainless steel bolts, left dry they could get stuck.
Place the element on a surface, and begin to pull out the smaller diameter,
Match the hole of the inner tube with that of the outer tube. The elements are fixed by inserting the
bolt from the side of the larger hole so that the bolt cylindrical head is well recessed and rests on
the internal tube fig. 2. Some sections have multi-holes to facilitate calibration, always starting from
the central hole, and then shorten if it should be long or lengthen if it should be short.
Using the same technique, extract and join all sections and traps.
Fully tighten the nut. Make sure that all bolts heads are on the same side.
The element center of the reflector is a single piece already pre-assembled on the boom fixing plate.
It will then be attached to the boom with the supplied square collars.
The traps have drainage holes that must point downwards.
