Guide
To set the default working directory to [SWCC], type the following at the command
prompt and then press RETURN (Replace DKB100 with the name of your hard drive):
$SET DEFAULT DKB100:[SWCC]
3. Copy the self-extracting file from the CD-ROM to the default directory. Type the
following command and then press RETURN (Replace DKB600 with the name of
your CD-ROM drive):
$ COPY DKB600:[SWCC.AGENTS.VMS]SWCC23_A.EXE *.*
4. To expand the self-extracting file, type the following and then press RETURN:
$ RUN SWCC23_A.EXE
5. At the next $ prompt, type:
PRODUCT INSTALL SWCC/SOURCE=[ ]
6. The system responds with a message that SWCC is the product selected to install and
asks if you want to continue. Answer YES or press Enter.
An installation verification message appears. The last line of this message is:
To configure SWCC Agent for HS* Controllers:@sys$manager:swcc_config
After the installation, execute the command procedure to start the Agent configuration:
@SYS$MANAGER:SWCC_CONFIG.COM.
NOTE: If you have an OpenVMS cluster running the MultiNet stack, the command procedure
SWCC_CONFIG.COM will only upgrade the services of each system disk's first node. To upgrade
the services database of the other nodes that share the system disk, type
@MULTINET:INSTALL_DATABASES or reboot the system.
