Setup Remove and retain the mounting pin bracket and its hardware from the Operator Controlled Discharge accessory assembly. Install the spacer bracket between the Operator Controlled Discharge accessory assembly and the mounting pin bracket using the hardware retained in the previous step and two 3/8-16 x 1 inch carriage bolts and 3/8 inch nyloc nuts as shown in Figure 5. -

Operation Operation Opening the Discharge Gate Push the handle downward to open the gate. Use the discharge gate to temporarily stop or deflect grass clippings away from sidewalks, parking lots, patios, or anywhere grass clippings are not desired to be discharged. The handle allows the discharge gate to be held in any position from fully closed to fully open. - Page 13 Operation front and rear deck lift shafts, and replace the floorpan Remove the hairpin and clevis pin from the handle assembly. WARNING While maintenance or adjustments are being made, someone could start the engine. Accidental starting of the engine could seriously injure you or other bystanders. Remove the key from the ignition switch, engage parking brake, and pull the wire(s) off the spark plug(s) before you do any maintenance. -
