    Setup Remove and retain the mounting pin bracket and its hardware from the Operator Controlled Discharge accessory assembly. Install the spacer bracket between the Operator Controlled Discharge accessory assembly and the mounting pin bracket using the hardware retained in the previous step and two 3/8-16 x 1 inch carriage bolts and 3/8 inch nyloc nuts as shown in Figure 5.

    Operation Operation Opening the Discharge Gate Push the handle downward to open the gate. Use the discharge gate to temporarily stop or deflect grass clippings away from sidewalks, parking lots, patios, or anywhere grass clippings are not desired to be discharged. The handle allows the discharge gate to be held in any position from fully closed to fully open.

  • Page 16 Maintenance Place the handle in the closed position, refer to Opening the Discharge Gate in the Operation section. Unlock the Operator Controlled Discharge accessory assembly and pivot it away from the mower deck. Adjust the cable nuts located behind and under the linkage cover (see Figure 14).
