Operating instructions

Filling the main tank

Water is filled into the tank by removing the tank lid located right on top
of the sprayer tank. It is recommended to use as clean water as
possible for spraying purposes. Always fill water through the strainer
basket to prevent foreign particles from entering the tank. An overhead
tank can be used in order to obtain high filling capacity.
WARNING: Do not let the filling hose
enter the tank. Keep it outside the
tank, pointing towards the filling hole.
If the hose is lead into the tank and
the water pressure drops at the
water supply plant, chemicals may
be syphoned back and contaminate
the water supply lines, plant and
well.

Operation of the boom

Remove boom transport lock pin.
When unfolding (or folding) the
initial force to release the spring
loaded breakaways will be higher
than the actual unfolding/folding.
CAUTION: The breakaways must
be correctly tensioned and lubri-
cated. (see section on Boom
breakaway)
Replace boom transport lock pin
when driving with folded boom.
