This will launch the output configuration dialog named Slot 2, Output 1:
Within this dialog it will be necessary to select the Channel which was
previously configured and then click on Gate Alarm On to enable the alarm
to be transmitted over the COM port (when the alarm is activated in Seanet
Pro an ASCII string will be sent out).

5.2.4. Remote Alarm String Format

The transmitted Alarm message is a serial ASCII string with the following
format:

Note
Do not set Continuous Data Output unless the full data string
from the Profiler is also to be sent out on the same COM port as
the alarm message.
Number of bytes in message (in hexadecimal), 02 =
RemV4 slot number, 25 = fixed device type of Profiler (in
hexadecimal), 3 = Ignore, 0 = Ignore}.
Time of Alarm (hhmmssdd = Hours,Min,Sec,DeciSec).
Alarm Mode selected (0 = Outside Gate, 1 = Inside Gate).
Point Threshold (number of points used in alarm threshold,
as configured in Seanet Pro).
Total Number of points in profile.
Number of Points (from the total) that are outside the gating
zone.
