TROUBLESHOOTING

Below is a list of some of the possible malfunctions.
If the problem cannot be resolved as described, contact Customer Services.
PROBLEM
The cofee is not hot.
The cofee is weak or not creamy
enough.
The cofee is delivered too slowly or a
drop at a time.
Cofee does not come out of one or
both of the spouts.
The appliance does not come on
The infuser cannot be extracted
The milk does not come out of the
milk spout (D5)
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The cups were not preheated.
The infuser has cooled down because
2/3 minutes have elapsed since the last
cofee was made.
A low cofee temperature is set.
The cofee is ground too coarsely.
The cofee is unsuitable.
The cofee is ground too inely.
The cofee spouts (A8) are blocked.
The power cord (C8) connector is not
inserted correctly.
It is not plugged into the mains socket. Plug into the mains socket (ig. 1).
The main switch (A21) is not turned on. Press the main switch (ig. 2).
The appliance has not been turned of
correctly
The lid (D2) of the milk container lid
(D) is dirty

SOLUTION
Warm the cups by rinsing them with hot
water (Please note: you can use the hot water
function).
Before making the cofee, heat the infuser by
rinsing using the rinse function (see section
"8.1 Rinsing ").
Set a higher cofee temperature in the menu
(see section "8.10 Cofee temperature
Turn the grinding adjustment dial (A5) one
click anticlockwise towards "1" while the cof-
fee mill is in operation (ig. 10). Continue one
click at a time until cofee delivery is satisfac-
tory. The efect is only visible after delivering
2 cofees (see section "9.3. Adjusting the cofee
mill").
Use pre-ground cofee for espresso machines.
Turn the grinding adjustment dial (A5) one
click clockwise towards "7" while the cofee
mill is in operation (ig. 10). Continue one click
at a time until cofee delivery is satisfactory.
The efect is only visible after delivering 2
cofees (see section "9.3. Adjusting the cofee
mill").
Clean the spouts with a toothpick (ig. 36B).
Insert the connector as far as it will go in the
socket at the back of the appliance (ig. 1).
Turn the appliance of by pressing the
(see section "7. Turning of").
Clean the milk container lid as described in sec-
tion "16.10 Cleaning the milk container".
