Because IT rooms generate high concentrations of heat and operate 24/7 x 365, specially designed cooling systems such as
the SmartRack
Precision In-Row Series provide high-density, predictable and reliable cooling. Each In-Row Cooler (indoors)
®
connects to a condenser (outdoors). By this method, the In-Row Cooler accumulates heat from IT equipment and rejects it to
the outdoors without the need for ductwork or complex cooling infrastructure.
The SmartRack
In-Row SRCOOLDXRW12 and SRCOOLDXRW25 Cooling Systems are precision, split type, DX, air-cooled
®
systems. They require copper piping connections to bridge the In-Row Cooler (indoors) and condenser (outdoors). No ductwork
or raised floor is required.
As a result, these are dedicated cooling systems, meaning the design allows them to operate independently of the building's
HVAC / comfort cooling system.
The system must be installed by a professional HVAC installer.
