Scheduling a server shut down or restart

Procedure
1. Select the System view.
2. In the left pane, expand the Site Node for the SiteProtector SP1001 appliance
3. Select the Maintenance tab, and then click Shutdown.
4. Select one of the following options:
5. Select either the elapsed time option or the day and time option, and then
6. If you want to warn users before the shut down occurs, select the Send
7. Click OK.

Configuring SNMP Services

About this task
By default, the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) service is disabled
on the SiteProtector SP1001 appliance but allowed by the Proventia Server IPS
policy. If your SiteProtector SP1001 appliance must be monitored by SNMP, you
can enable SNMP services on the Network tab.
SNMP is a network management protocol frequently used in TCP/IP networks to
monitor and manage computers and other devices (such as printers) connected to
the network.
Procedure
1. Select the System view.
2. In the left pane, expand the Site Node for the SiteProtector SP1001 appliance
3. The Appliance Configuration interface appears in the right pane.
4. Select the Network tab, and then click SNMP Service.
5. Do one of the following:
6. Click OK.
