Press the NEW WPT soft key to show the waypoint window (see the figure on

the previous page). Ownship position is shown in the position box.
Select the position box and enter position desired.

If necessary, change waypoint data following the instructions from step 6 in

"Entering a waypoint with the cursor," located on page 3-29 in the Furuno
operator's manual.
Press the SAVE soft key to register the waypoint.

Press the [MENU] key to close the menu.
