The FURUNO Model 1933C is an integrated navigation system. The
system integrates radar, differential global positioning system (DGPS), a
chart plotter, depth sounder, and a fluxgate compass. The system is
commercially available from FURUNO Electric Company as the NavNet®
system and is referred to by the USCG as the Scalable Integrated
Navigation System (SINS). The SINS package is the standard navigation
system onboard the USCG 25-ft RB-S, 41-ft UTB and the 47-ft MLB.
