Note:
If the drain line becomes clogged or frozen, condensate will back-up into the water heater and a "29" er-
ror code will fl ash on the remote controller, ceasing operation. If this occurs, clear the clog or freeze so
that condensate can freely fl ow. Be sure to slope the drain pipe, use the appropriate size pipe, allow the
proper clearances, and apply freeze prevention measures (when necessary) to prevent the drain line
from clogging or freezing.
1/2" Plastic pipe (such as PVC)
