Initial Operation
Before the fi rst use of your water heater, make the following preparations.
1 through 4
Follow steps
1
Open the water supply valve.
CLOSED

Open a hot water fi xture to confi rm that
water is available, and then close the
fi xture again.

Open the gas supply valve.
CLOSED
4
Turn on the power.
OPEN
Hot water fi xture
