operaTion Tion general guidelines on working with WARNIN WARNINg the machine Risk of serious injury due to long-term work with increased noise interference. DANgER The noise level in the workplace can deviate from the measured value (see Technical Data) particularly through life-threatening danger exists through rotating rotors the differing types of tractor cabins.
OperatiOn Important notes prior to starting work (see Supplement-A1 pts. 1, 2, 3 and 4)) 1. Switch on p.t.o. Always and only switch the p.t.o. drive on when all safety devices (covers, protective aprons, casings, etc.) are in proper condition and are attached to the machine in their safety positions.
operaTion Tion general guidelines on working with the Conversion from transport to working machine position 075-09-05 DANgER life-threatening danger exists through rotating rotors and folding arms • Turn the rake off before leaving the cabin. DANgER • Switch off engine and remove ignition key prior to any adjustment, maintenance or life-threatening danger through machine tipping over.
OperatiOn The lowering speed of the rotor can be adjusted with the throttle on the lifting cylinder. • for TOP 612 C Standard • for TOP 702 C/ TOP762 C only with optional equipment hydraulic working width adjustment Settings on rotor chassis Requirements: - level and firm ground a.
075-09-05 OperatiOn 2,0 cm - Adjust the working height to the ground conditions. - The fodder becomes dirty and the swath is damaged if the setting is too low. - Check the setting frequently during operation. Setting the distance of the outer feeler wheel 1.
OperatiOn Example: left rotor with tandem chassis: Requirements: - level and firm ground - 1.5 bar pressure in all tyres - The implement is attached to the tractor and in the working position 639-13-12 3. Step Rake end 3. Step 4.
OperatiOn • Increase the distance to the tines for long chucks Speed of cardan shaft to prevent the chuck from wrapping around and blocking the feeler wheel. The maximum cardan shaft speed is: 540 rpm The recommended cardan shaft speed is approx. 450 rpm NOTE Property damage through the outer feeler wheel colliding with the tractor when cornering.
OperatiOn 4. Fit the stopper (only the hydraulic variant). Raising a rotor 1. Select the rotor you wish to raise on the single rotor control unit 2. Set the tractor control unit to "raise" in order to raise the pre-selected rotor. 3.
