Removal
Proceed as follows to remove the actuator from the valve refer-
ring to Fig. 11-1, making sure to not expose the plant to any risk:
Disconnect any electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic power supply
from the actuators and make sure the actuator itself is depres-
surized.
Disconnect all electrical wirings of the control or signal de-
vices, if any, refer to the control or signal devices documenta-
tion for safe disassembly.
Remove the bolts and nuts from the valve fl ange and re-
move the actuator from the valve.
Remove the coupling.
Remove the bracket from the actuator, if any.
Remove the control or signal devices, if any, refer to the con-
trol or signal devices documentation for safe disassembly.
