ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Unpack the components carefully. Please check all parts have been removed from the packaging.
Slide the pieces of the stake together, then press the footed stakes fully into the ground and slide
the leaves into the slots on the sides of the pole.
To easily insert stakes into the ground, it is recommended to wet the ground first. To avoid
damaging garden stakes when inserting into the ground, select a spot in soft, rock-free soil. Insert
the base of the stake first then gently insert the rest of the stake into the base. DO NOT push
directly against the ornament housing.
Place the glass bowl into the Dahlia with the sponge inside. The glass bowl is perfect for holding
nectar with the bright sponge providing a place for butterflies to land. You can also place orange
slices in the bowl or on the leaves as another way of attracting butterflies.
Dilute the sealed sachet and add it to the sponge. Use 40ml of water per 40g sachet. The validity
date of the food sachet is 1 year when kept under normal temperature.
To make your own butterfly nectar, mix 4 parts of water with 1 part of sugar and boil for a few
minutes until the sugar has dissolved. Let the mixture cool thoroughly before adding to the feeder.
Replace the nectar every 1-2 days ensuring that bees and butterflies are provided with fresh nectar.
Large batches can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 weeks.
