Control button
The control button is used for:
Calibrating the speaker test. Press and release the control button and a test tone is played.
Resetting the product to factory default settings. See Reset to factory default settings on page 31.
Microphone disable switch
For location of the microphone disable switch, see Product overview on page 34.
The microphone disable switch is used to mechanically turn the microphone ON or OFF. The factory default setting for this switch
is ON.
Connectors

Risk of electric shock. The product shall be grounded using a grounding wire. Make sure both ends of the grounding wire
are in contact with their respective grounding surfaces.
Make sure the grounding wire is as short as possible to make the current path as short as possible.
Network connector
RJ45 Ethernet connector with Power over Ethernet (PoE).

The product shall be connected using a shielded network cable (STP). All cables connecting the product to the network shall
be intended for their specific use. Make sure that the network devices are installed in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions. For information about regulatory requirements, see the Installation Guide at www.axis.com.
Indication
Unlit for normal operation.
Steady green for normal operation.
Steady during startup and when restoring settings.
Slow flash for failed upgrade.
Flashes red/green fast when identifying an audio device is selected.
