2.13.2 Laying and Fixing Sequence

1) Make the feeder arrangement based on the sector requirements in the
engineering design. Determine the plan on the feeder arrangement and lead-in.
Normally, the feeders in one sector are arranged in one column or row. The
arrangement sequences of the feeders in each column or row shall be kept
consistent with each other.
2) Arrange the feeders according to the designed sequence.
3) Fix the feeders onto the tower or the cabling rack while arranging them neatly.
Meanwhile, mount the feeder grounding clips and replace the temporary labels
with formal metal labels.
Caution:
A Metallic label shall be bound to a feeder using a black tie at the following positions:
The point 200 mm away from the lower connector under the outdoor antenna.
The point 200~300 mm down the tower platform.
The point 200 mm away from the outside of the feeder window.
The bent.
When binding labels to the feeders, make sure that they are neatly laid out. All labels shall face the
same direction, and so shall the cable ties. When cutting off the extra part of a cable tie, make sure to
leave 3~5 mm of tail on the cable tie.

2.13.3 Installation Procedure of Feeder Grounding Clips

1) Prepare the tools, unpack the packing box of the feeder grounding clips and get
all the parts and accessories handy at a clean place or on a piece of paper.
2) Determine the installation location of the feeder grounding clip. According to the
clip size, strip the feeder skin at the determined location and expose the outer
conductor, as shown in 1, 2 and 3 of Figure 2-36.
