BRAKING

Braking system ABS
The ABS braking system is linked to an integrated braking
system operated by the brake pedal.
- The ABS system enables the rider to retain control of
the vehicle when braking in slippery conditions.
- The right and left brake levers operate in the same way
as a conventional braking system, while retaining the
function ABS.
• The right lever acts on the front wheels.
• The left lever acts on the rear wheel.
Use of the brakes
• Close the throttle.
• Activate the brake system by gradually increasing the
pressure.
Avoid braking suddenly on wet roads or
in bends.
Reduce speed on steep slopes to avoid prolonged
braking, as overheating will reduce braking efficiency.
