CLEANING & CARE
Always disconnect the kettle from the power outlet and cool it down completely before
cleaning.

moisture to contact with these parts.
2.
Wipe the appearance of body with a damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous
cleaner.

Boil-Dry Protection
If you accidently let the kettle operate without water, when temperature sensor detects
temperature exceeding 105°C the kettle will stop heating. All of indicator lights will blink for
warning, if this occurs, allow the kettle to cool prior to filling with cold water before re-boiling.
Removal of Mineral Deposits
Your kettle should be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in tap water may form
scale on the bottom of kettle, leading to less efficient operation. You can use a commercially
available descaler and follow the instructions on the package of descaler.
Alternatively, you may follow below instructions using white vinegar:
1.
Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then adding water to the amount to
cover the bottom of kettle completely.
2.
Leave the solution in the kettle overnight, then discard the solution.
3.
Fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum position, run to boil, and then
discard the water.
4.
Repeat step 3 several times until the odour of vinegar has been flushed away. Any
stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
