FAQs on BALDR Weather Station
SKU: WS0359 / WS0336 / WS0360 / WS0340 / WS0341 / WS0317
We set up the correct Month & Date, but the weather station is showing a wrong Weekday.
Please make sure you set up the correct YEAR before setting up the MONTH & DATE. By default, it is 2019
or 2020. It can be easily confused with the setting for Hour & Min. Once complete, the correct Weekday
will be automatically populated.
Our outdoor sensor is no longer sending data to the weather station, even after a battery
change.
On the weather station sidebar, locate the "CH" button, press & hold for 3 seconds, then release. All
channels receiving signals now should be flashing, and within a few minutes, the sensor data should
come in the display. This serves as a forced re-registration.
If any channel is still not displaying after 10 minutes, empty the sensor's batteries, wait one minute and
place them back. You will notice the red light on the sensor front face flash once immediately upon
installation complete, and it should sync to the main station right away.
If one or all channels are still not synced after the above steps, please contact us for further assistance.
I can not find the two metal screws to support the device
The two metal screws are located inside the rear battery compartment. Open the battery cover you will
find them. If they are missing, please contact our support team to send extras.
Why do my outdoor data sometimes show, sometimes disappear?
Most of our weather stations can pair up to 3 remote sensors. While only one sensor is provided, you will
need to lock the channel on the main base to match the channel selected on the sensor. If you leave the
CH in AUTO ROTATION mode, the channel will automatically switch among CH1, CH2, CH3 every few
seconds. Since only one sensor is feeding the data, the other two channels will display "__". To exit the
AUTO mode is easy, just press "CH" one more time and you will notice that the half-circle arrow mark next
to the "CH1" is gone.
The batteries are always very loose in the remote sensor
Please make sure that you insert the correct size of batteries. Our older version sensors use 2xAAA while
our newer version uses 2xAA batteries.
I got a Baldr weather station (B0359WST4H4PR). Sometimes the screen will go dark, then
I unplug the power cord and plug it back in and the screen is back to normal. It has
happened several times and for no reason. Can you explain?
The screen will go dark while it is on atomic radio receiving mode, normally last 7 minutes. It will
automatically occur after plug in and several times during the day. When it is done, it will go back to
brightness level you set up initially.
The daily RCC signal receiving times are: UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00. During these period it
will go dark for a while. (Mostly during the night)
