13. Fusing separation pawl disassembly

Remove the document table and the top cabinet.

Remove the fan unit and the main PWB.

Remove the fusing separation pawls.

14. Upper heat roller disassembly

Remove the document table and the top cabinet.

Remove the fan unit and the main PWB.
3
Remove the fusing separation pawl.

Remove the heater lamp.
5
Remove the main chassis.
6
Remove the rings and gears in the both sides of the bearing, and
remove the bearing.

Note: Be careful not to scratch the roller.
Note for assembly: Be sure to insert the ring securely in the heat
roller groove.
15. Paper feed unit and resist roller
removal (Z-26)

Remove the document table and the top cabinet.

Remove the main chassis.

Remove the arm A.

Remove the two screws and an E-ring which are fixing the paper
feed unit.
5
Forcibly pull the resist roller upwards to remove.
6
Remove the paper feed unit.
Note for assembly
•
Hang the release lever spring attached to the resist roller shaft on
the resist lever and put the spring end in the groove.
•
Attach the drive belt securely.
•
Be careful to the solenoid plunger position.
