Possible Cause
Station not tuned properly for
AM or FM.
FM: Telescopic antenna is not
extended.
AM: The bar antenna is not
positioned correctly.
The BAND selector is switched Switch the BAND selector
to FM position.
FUNCTION switch is not set to Set FUNCTION switch to
RADIO.
Volume at minimum.
FUNCTION switch is not set to Set FUNCTION switch to
CD.
CD is not installed or installed

Solution
Retune the AM or FM
broadcast station.
Extend FM Telescopic
antenna.
Reposition the unit until
best reception is obtained.
to FM STEREO position.
RADIO.
Increase Volume.
CD.
Insert CD with Iabel side
up.
Wipe disc with cloth or use
another disc.
