PREPARATION
1. Included items: AN250W, Quick Start, and batteries.
2. Download the User Manual from the Extech website.
3. Download the ExView mobile app from the App Store (iOS®) or
Google Play (Android™).
4. Install batteries in the rear compartment.
5. Long press the power button

GENERAL SAFETY
• Check for damage to the device before use. Return the unit if
damage is evident.
• If the meter is to be stored long term, please remove the bat-
teries and store separately.
• Do not place the meter near a strong electromagnetic field dur-
ing operation.
• CE and FCC compliant.
TAKING MEASUREMENTS
1. Position the meter so that the flow of air enters the vane from
the back.
2. View the air velocity (top) and temperature readings (bottom)
on the LCD.
3. Beaufort readings (1 to 12) are shown on the left.
4. For over-range measurements, OL will display.
5. Short press the power button to switch off.
BLUETOOTH OPERATION
Long press the Bluetooth button
Download the ExView mobile app onto your smart device from the
App Store or Google Play.
Instructions for use are available on the Extech website (ExView
