Acquire Satellite (GPS) Signals

Go outdoors to an open area, away from tall buildings and trees.
Open the antenna. It may take a few minutes to acquire satellite
signals. The
bars in the upper-left corner of the Menu page
indicate satellite strength. When the bars are green, your unit has
acquired satellite signals.

Charge the Unit

To charge the unit, use one of the following methods:
Connect the unit to the vehicle mount.
Connect the USB cable to the unit and your computer.
Connect the AC adapter to the unit and a wall outlet.
Adjust the Volume and Brightness
Press and quickly release the
Menu page to access the Quick Settings. Move the sliders to adjust
the volume and brightness. Touch

Safe Mode

When your vehicle is moving faster than five miles per hour, Safe
Mode disables unit functions that require significant operator
attention and could become a distraction while driving. The Where
To function is not disabled.
