Lock Your Honda Portable Navigation System

Garmin Lock is an anti-theft feature. You can set a four-digit PIN (personal identification number) and

a security location; then every time you turn the unit on you must enter the PIN or drive to your security
location. Write down your PIN, and keep it in a safe place.
1. Flip up the antenna on the unit to get satellite signals.
2. Touch > System
3. Touch OK, enter a 4-digit PIN, and then re-enter your PIN.
4. Touch OK, drive to a security location, and touch Set.
Each time you turn on the unit, enter the 4-digit PIN or drive to the security location.
NoTe: If you forget your PIN and your security location, you must send your unit to Garmin to
get it unlocked.
What is a Security Location?
You can select any location, such as your home or office, for your security location. If you are at your
security location, you do not need to enter a PIN. If you forget your PIN, drive to your security location to
unlock the unit.
NoTe: To unlock your Honda Portable Navigation System at your security location, the unit must
have acquired satellite signals.
